What happens if I ever go over my call limits?
When you’re at risk of going over your call limits, Wudpecker will send you an email notification with options for how to proceed. But if you have crossed the limit, then Wudpecker stops recording your meetings.
How do I upgrade my account?
You can upgrade at https://app.wudpecker.io/upgrade. Inside the app, click on the widget that is showing the number of calls you have had this month. It is at the bottom left of the platform.
Once you are in this view, click "Manage plan". This should take you to the Stripe portal, where you can do various actions, such as:
1. Update plan 2. Update payment method 3. Update billing information
Can I get a refund?
Wudpecker does not provide a refund if you have canceled the subscription before the billing period ends. However, you can still use the premium features included in your plan until the end of the current billing period!
Does Wudpecker work with Zoom, Google Meets, or Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Wudpecker integrates with all these 3 platforms. When you have a meeting on these platforms, Wudpecker will send a notetaker there to record and transcribe the conversation.
How can I add multiple calendars? I have a work email, but also a personal email
Each Wudpecker account can only be connected to one calendar. You may already have your work email in Wudpecker, and that work calendar connected to Wudpecker. And if you want your personal calendar to be integrated with Wudpecker, you can create another Wudpecker account with that personal email.
What happens if there are different languages spoken in the same meeting?
Wudpecker will transcribe with the language that is most spoken in the meeting. This means that if there was e.g. English and Spanish spoken in the meeting, and English was identified as the main language to transcribe, then Wudpecker try to transcribe the entire conversation in English. So the Spanish part will likely not be readable.
How do I get my notetaker to join the adhoc meetings?
Once you integrated your calendar, your Wudpecker's notetaker auto-joins the meeting. Wudpecker joins an event based on the start time and whether the event has a meeting link.When it comes to an adhoc meeting, you can hack it to join by creating a calendar event in the now that contains the meeting link. Then the notetaker will join.
How accurate is the transcription and can it handle different accents or dialects?
Wudpecker's transcription accuracy is typically very high, and we continuously strive to improve it. However, the accuracy may vary depending on factors such as the clarity of the audio, background noise, and the speaker's accent or dialect. Wudpecker's software is designed to handle different accents and dialects, and we are continually training our models to improve accuracy across a wide range of speech patterns. While our transcription technology is highly accurate, there may be cases where it doesn't recognize uncommon words or technical terms accurately.In summary, Wudpecker's transcription technology is accurate and reliable, but there may be some cases where it may not capture every word or phrase with 100% accuracy. However, we are continuously working to improve our technology and provide our customers with the best possible experience.
Can the tool identify different speakers?
Yes, Wudpecker can identify different speakers. This feature is particularly useful for team meetings, interviews, or any conversation involving multiple participants.
What happens if I reschedule my meetings?
Wudpecker is fully synchronized with your calendar, ensuring that any changes or rescheduling of meetings are immediately updated in its system. As a result, the assigned notetaker will always be present at the newly scheduled time, seamlessly adapting to any changes or updates to your calendar.
How long does it take to see my meetings?
Wudpecker's software typically processes recordings in roughly 10 minutes. Depending on the length of the recording and the level of demand on our servers, it may take a few minutes to process longer recordings. Nonetheless, Wudpecker aims to provide customers with fast and efficient transcription services to ensure that you can access your meetings and events as quickly as possible.
How does Wudpecker ensure the security and privacy of customer data?
Wudpecker ensures the security and privacy of customer data by employing measures such as encryption, access controls, and compliance with industry best practices. We limit access to personal information and only share it with third parties when necessary and with appropriate safeguards. Additionally, Wudpecker provides users with options to manage and delete their personal information. Can the transcription be edited or corrected after the meeting if there are errors?
Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to edit or correct transcriptions after the meeting has taken place. Once the transcription has been generated, it is considered final and cannot be modified.
Can I create snippets from my recordings or share them?
You can also share the whole recording if you wish. To share your recordings, you can go to the dropdown menu and select the share button. From there, you can copy the link to the recording and choose whether to allow anyone with that link to access it.This feature makes it easy to share meeting recordings with team members or external stakeholders without having to send large files or schedule additional meetings for playback. You can easily extract the most important details of your meetings, such as key takeaways, and share them with your team or colleagues.
Do I need to ask permission to record?
Participants should always be informed of being recorded. The best practices are two either inform them before the meeting, or at the beginning of the meeting.You can attach in the calendar invite: "This session will be recorded for training and quality purposes. We can also send you a link to the recording, so you can review it. Don't wish to be recorded. No problem. Simply let us know and we'll stop the recording at any time."Or when the meeting starts: "Is it okay if I record this meeting to improve the quality, and also so I can focus on listening to you instead of dividing my attention into taking notes? I can also share the recording with you afterwards if you'd like."In our experience being in thousands of calls, the participants appreciate the recording so that you can be present in the conversation, and there's a recording to revisit, or share with absent attendees!

Can I have multiple Workspaces?
Currently, you can only have 1 workspace and 1 calendar connected to a single Wudpecker account.
Can I kick the notetaker out?
Yes. If you would like to remove Wudpecker from your meeting, you can do so by following the same instructions you would use to remove any other participant in your Zoom, Google Meets or Teams meeting. However, please note that if you remove Wudpecker from your meeting, you will no longer be able to benefit from its automatic note-taking, recording, and transcription features.
Is there a limit to the length of meetings or amount of storage for recordings and transcriptions?
No, there is no limit to the length of meetings or amount of storage for recordings and transcriptions on Wudpecker. You can record and transcribe meetings of any length, and all recordings and transcriptions are stored securely in the cloud without any storage limits.
